SPRING LAKE HIGH SCHOOL: 4
The Varsity Falcons faced off against conference opponent Spring Lake on Wednesday evening. The Lakers were able to control the pace of the game, and they found the back of the net 3 times in the first half, and once in the second half. Highlights abounded from the Falcon defense in their handling of a high powered Spring Lake offense. In particular, the duo of Falcon goalkeepers, Amber Kolean and Katelynne Tomasek combined for 12 saves, many of them difficult saves that kept the Falcon's hope alive.
In the end, the game was ended 4 minutes before the final whistle due to lightnng, with a score of 0-4 in favor of the Visitors.
The Falcon's get ready for a non-conference clash against the Dutch from Holland on Friday night.
