Allendale's Varsity team competed at the WMVOA Volleyball Tournament this weekend in Grand Rapids.  Allendale defeated Hopkins 25-19, 25-16 and Spring Lake 25-19, 25-10 and fell to Northview 16-25, 24-26 in pool play.   As brackets were being formed it was a three way tie to determine 7/8/9th place teams and came down to a coin toss who would be moving on to gold bracket.   We lost the toss and was seeded 1st in Silver Bracket.  We defeated Sparta in the first round of bracket play 25-12, 25-18.  Semi final match was again North Muskegon defeating them 25-17, 25-23.  The Championship match of the Silver Bracket was againt Pewamo-Westphalia.  We fell to them but not without putting up a good fight in the second set.  Final scores were 11-25, 21-25.  Allendales overall record is 4-2.  Allendale will be home hosting a tri with all three levels against Greenville and Covenant Christian.
