The Falcons faced off against top of the table Spring Lake last evening at Falcon Soccer Stadium.  The Lakers jumped out to an early lead, and didn't look back, scoring three before halftime.  The Falcons struggled to get things going on the offensive side of the ball against the Lakers, and the score at half was 0-3.  

The team knew that they would have to come out with a renewed sense of urgency if they were going to pull themselves back into this game.  While the team's energy level was there, and a handful of chances were created, the Falcons were unable to string anything together, and unable to get on the board.  On the other side of the ball in the second half, the team seemed to come together, and found their form.  The Falcons were able to frustrate the Laker's attack in the second half, holding them to no goals.  Hadley Detter had 9 saves on the night, facing a total of 12 shots.

The Falcons fall to 9-3 on the season, and they face the Dutch of Holland in a non-conference clash Friday night.
