Allendale High School

Hello, my name is Jenna VanDyke and I am incredibly excited to step into the role of your new Middle School Athletic Director. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of coaching cheer, track, and cross country, as well as supporting and helping to coach community youth sports like Little League baseball. Combined with 2 years in the classroom teaching Spanish here at Allendale Middle School as well as previous teaching experience in both Grand Rapids and West Ottawa school districts, I’ve developed a deep understanding of what the student-athlete experience is all about. For me, it’s always been about fostering growth both in the classroom and on the field. Middle school is such a pivotal time for students to discover their passions, build resilience and learn the value of teamwork and I am looking forward to supporting our student-athletes both on and off the field this coming school year. On a personal note, my roots run deep right here in our local community. My family and I live in Allendale, and my children attend Allendale High School, where they’re actively involved in the school's athletic programs. As both an educator and a sports parent, I’m fully invested in making our athletic programs the best they can be, and I can't wait to get to work with our amazing students, coaches, and families!
