SPARTA SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL: 0
The Falcons defeated Sparta 4-0 on Tuesday evening at Sparta. Gerry Rangel opened the scoring early, burying the first shot of the game, less than one minute in. Other goals were scored by Gio Huerta, Xavier Walser, and Emilio Juarez. Assists came from Vega Cruz, and Jonny Vandermolen. Finn Aungst fought hard from his second clean sheet in a row, his third on the season. The defense was solid throughout, giving up few opportunities and moving the ball effectively forward.
The boys restart their conference schedule Thursday against Coopersville at home.
